The caretaker Mr Bretherton (Jonathan Hardy) seems to help Greta (Erica Kennedy) play Jason’s (David Presser) very difficult violin solo when he smiles at her from the balcony. Everyone is amazed at her performance – apart from Flea (Simon Grey). He understands because the same thing has happened to him. Greta is the only one who understands what he is talking about.

The camera is used effectively to create the mysterious connection between Greta and the strange caretaker as he stares at her.
