Clip description
The opening titles for The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill show Bottle Top Bill (voiced by Graham Matters), his best friend Corky (voiced by Emma Jane Hyland) and their surrounding environment being constructed from items found around the home. Today’s adventure starts in the backyard on 'a windy day’. Bottle Top Bill and Corky are going to wash their dirty clothes, for which they need a washing line, fresh water and a tub.

This segment sets up the gentle pace, playful tone and signature style of the series. Initially out of vision, the two friends interact to establish the day’s adventure. The back garden and necessary props take shape frame by frame from household bits and pieces (like a cereal box and a ball). Props magically materialise as the characters and story dictate. A variety of animation methods – CGI, 2D and stop motion – contribute to the program’s unique look and feel.
