Clip description
Bill Lew had four restaurant businesses before the 1990–91 recession. He recalls 'the good old days’ before he lost it all. He visits his old hairdresser and the restaurant. Bill’s wife, Elizabeth, adds a few poignant comments.
Curator’s notes
The technique of having the main character visit places he frequented when he was in his prime, while he reflects on the past, is very effective, and helped further by the choice of music to enhance the melancholy mood.
