Chased by The Brolga (John Stanton), with Arrow (Rhys Muldoon) in hot pursuit, Thowra (John Higginson) and Storm (Doug Tremlett) jump over the ravine, leaving a humiliated Arrow to face the wrath and ridicule of The Brolga.
Curator’s notes
In this clip we see Thowra’s physical prowess and bravery in comparison to the weakness – both physical and moral – of the antihero Arrow. Although there is only a brief glimpse of him in this clip, another character of note is Thowra’s mentor, Benni the wise kangaroo, skilfully voiced by the distinguished and instantly recognisable Charles 'Bud’ Tingwell.
