Clip description
Roger and Jill Pascoe have been invited to give a guest lecture at the local drama school by their friend and actor (Linden Wilkinson) who teaches there. The couple begin with what appears to be an old routine, almost like a vaudeville pair who’ve performed the same act for years, until things start to become rather personal as they head out into the unchartered waters of improvisation.
Curator’s notes
This one-off play in a series of seven, is magnificently written by novelist Glenda Adams and was her first screenplay. The performances by Elizabeth Alexander and Colin Friels as the couple who have everything, is absolutely electric and we really don’t know how so much truth telling will work out. The script and performances are as good as any thriller.
