Constable Morgan is dead. Rattray (Sonia Todd) is in the firing line because some of her colleagues are suggesting that she made a wrong call at the accident scene. As acting head of the squad it’s up to McClintock (Gary Sweet) to conduct an internal enquiry, and some people feel he’s too close to Rattray to decide the issue fairly.
Curator’s notes
Relationships at work have become a very potent issue in the modern world, as women have taken their place in society as workmates and bosses. In this case, neither one of the couple want to leave the unit for the sake of a relationship, so they decide not to take it any further. Micky is very supportive of Rattray who wants to retain her position in the squad, she would lose out as the junior colleague if they took their relationship any further.
