clip 'In the immortal words of Julian Caesar …'

Original classification rating: G. This clip chosen to be G

Clip description

Gamma celebrates its newfound tourist attraction (and source of income) with a street parade featuring the Roman boat. Mayor Bainbridge (Paul Chubb) then launches ambitious plans for Gamma’s future – a Roman temple and bubbler complex. Peter (Clayton Williamson) and Margaret (Kate McDonald) are the only ones not enjoying the fun.

Curator’s notes

Margaret, in the parade, is clearly not enjoying the spectacle. Standing apart in the crowd below, Peter too is a dissenter. Their eyes meet and their faces speak volumes – dialogue is not required. This clip ends with Mayor Bainbridge’s hilarious and opportunistic misquoting of Julius Caesar.
