Curator’s notes
In John Safran’s brand of Gonzo journalism, comic diatribes, interviews and pranks are a vehicle for the delivery of real facts and questions. In this segment, he segues from a self-referential comic monologue to some interesting pop trivia about controversial album covers. In ensuing scenes, members of the Australian bands TISM and Snog talk about having their cover art banned, touching on questions of censorship and freedom of expression.
