Nikos feeds his birds and Sophia plays with makeup before the family sits down to dinner. On their way to school, Nikos tells Sophia it’s about time she started doing her own maths homework.

In this clip we see Niko’s love for birds and his mathematical ability, and Sophia’s interest in makeup, which her parents clearly don’t approve of. At the family dinner, when their grandfather compares everything with Greece, the children find him old fashioned, highlighting the generation gap and a cultural gap.
