Curator’s notes

This clip looks at various Malaysian terrains, including mangroves, tidal swamps, rice paddies and rubber plantations. It focuses on both the impediments and the benefits to troop movement in these environments, determined by such elements as vegetation, visibility, general climatic conditions and the prevalence of water.
