Clip description

The neighbours follow the Armstrong-Taylors’ lead and repaint their houses.

Curator’s notes

Multiculturalism, upward mobility, individual aesthetic tastes and competitiveness are gently lampooned as the residents of Union Street redecorate the facades of their houses. Although their individual differences are now made publicly apparent, they are soon to unite as the squatters’ plan comes to fruition.
