'I'm Max'

This clip chosen to be PG

Clip description

Max (Michael Tuahine) works at a fish processing factory, where he locks eyes with the boss’s daughter, Dimitra (Phaedra Nicolaidis). Walking home, a co-worker (Duncan Young) warns Max away from Dimitra and they fight. Max then meets Harry (Tony Barry), an older man who helps him with his wounds.

Curator’s notes

This clip introduces the characters, location and the tone of the film. Note the sparing use of colour; the red of Max’s blood when he cuts himself stands out boldly against the ice in the factory.
