Two brothers, Burrimmilla (David Gulpilil) and Charlie (Tom E Lewis), travel to their mother’s burial site and return a sacred stone to its rightful place.
Curator’s notes
The clip shows a Yolngu burial cave, as the brothers attend the site of their mother’s burial. They return the sacred stone to the place it belongs and in doing so restore the balance between the natural and spiritual worlds. Charlie finally finds his place, beside his brother Burrimmilla, in the Yolngu world.
