Vicki (Susie Porter) is happy, busy and preoccupied, which prompts her husband Greg (Tamblyn Lord) to think she is having an affair. She takes him to see what she has been painting: a room with proclamations of love for him scrawled across the walls and ceiling. In the morning, she finds him in there again, smiling and eating his breakfast.
Curator’s notes
Rather than act on her desire to bed 'Mr Tattoo Man’ at the swimming pool, Vicki has resorted to fantasies and channelled them into love for her husband and her painting. Writer-director Davida Allen has always been interested in how a marriage can be kept alive, and she first explored this through painting.
