Vicki (Susie Porter) is finding the loneliness and monotony of being a mother of young children very difficult. When her husband Greg (Tamblyn Lord) talks excitedly about his work at the hospital while clipping his toenails in bed, she storms off. This sparks a fight about which of the two is worse off.

Feeling Sexy is a very evocative film. It’s a vividly honest and realistic portrait of the frustration of women stuck at home and feeling unfulfilled. It’s also a visual feast because of the richness of the colour palette used and the simplicity of the compositions.
