Bushnell, K: Cyclone Tracy Aftermath (1974)

  1. The clip 'the army arrives' may be misleading. I seem to remember that the helicopters were actually flying an informal/formation farewell to Darwin. They were from HMAS Melbourne aircraft carrier which was preparing to leave those waters having done what they could. The Navy it was who had worked so wonderfully in the previous couple of weeks(?) in January/Feb 1975. Keith B.
