Christmas Crackers (1945)

  1. I find clip two of this film really moving, as well as funny, with it's intertitle, 'Four reasons why the Australian flag is still flying'. I think of the horrors these guys have so recently come from, and there they are enjoying sitting round on the grass in the back yard with a beer. Nice to remember too, what a very natural environment a back yard was in those days! Where's the 6 burner stainless steel gas BBQ? How did they manage to entertain!?
