Larry has little understanding of events until anti-nuclear campaigner Eagle deliberately commits an offence in order to be placed in Larry’s cell at the local police station. Eagle’s information about Heinrich, Mr Gray and WALDO reflected the strong fears of many Australians involved in the anti-nuclear movement at the time.
Hugh Keays-Byrne and Steve Bisley were reunited here after appearing in Mad Max (1979). The striking aerial footage is of Glen Davis, an abandoned shale mining town near Lithgow, NSW.
