Clip description

Eddie (Luke Carroll) decides to leave Perth and return to Kalgoorlie. He looks for his blue jacket which contains a stone given to him by his uncle to take home. He questions his cousin Charlie (Leon Burchill) and learns the jacket is with another man, Pauly. Charlie’s partner Rhonda (Rohanna Angus) is unimpressed with her party-going partner. As Eddie is about to leave, Charlie throws his things in the car and says, 'Come on, before she see us.’

Curator’s notes

This clip introduces Rohanna Angus as Charlie’s partner Rhonda and shows both the contrast and the connection between the two cousins. While Eddie wants to engage with his culture and walk the land and Charlie wants to live a life of irresponsible fun, they both want to go home.
