Curator’s notes
A good illustration of the way Falzon builds a sequence, telling a kind of story without dialogue. The song starts slowly but keeps adding layers of sound, as the surfboard takes shape. By the time he takes the board out to surf, the music is at full width, and the sense of excitement is very strong. This is like advertising for the virtues of surfing.
