clip 'Don't leave it too late'

Original classification rating: MA. This clip chosen to be PG

Clip description

We are introduced to Kimberley cultural camp elder (John Watson), walking with a group of children amidst a bush setting as the Travelling Kimberley Songmen sing an upbeat song.

This contrasts with TJ (Dean Daley-Jones), a young man from the south of Western Australia, visiting his brother (Kelton Pell) in prison in the city. They talk about their children and TJ’s brother tells him to visit his son before it is too late.

Curator’s notes

This clip juxtaposes the pleasant nature of the bush environment with the pressure, anxiety and stress of city life. It introduces the cultural camp elder, played by John Watson, the Travelling Kimberley Songmen, Alan and Stephen Pigram, and the lead character TJ.
