Clip description
After complaining to her mother (Bobbie Hunt) about not being able to borrow money to go out for a night with the girls, Grace (Dorothy Dickson) sulks in her room. Her father (John Nugent) tells her about the importance of saving to support the country in the war effort, and to help their loved ones fighting on the frontlines. While he served overseas during the First World War, Grace’s mother was at home buying war bonds so that, when he returned, they could combine their money and start a life together.
