Curator’s notes

In this clip we get a sense of how the filmmaking process evolved with great discussion amongst the Borroloola community. This process, whereby discussion is entered into about who gets assigned which parts in the re-enactments, is reminiscent of the negotiation involved in making The Balanda and the Bark Canoes (2006).
