The Mighty Conqueror (1931)

I believe that the rider of Phar Lap in this photo is my father-in-law, Bert Montgomery, who on a number of times rode Phar Lap on track work at Brayside. Bert always rode track work wearing a white polo jumper. Bert was also used as an extra in the George Wallace film called "Ticket in Tatts". Why I know this is I have many members of my family in the racing Industry.
