Jonno Durrant and Stefan Hunt appear on Australian television to publicise their plan to surf in all 50 US states and not pay for accommodation during the trip.

Durrant and Hunt establish a relaxed tone by narrating their own story and pointing out that it is a travel documentary more than a surfing movie. Snippets of Americans reacting to their offbeat mission indicate a light-hearted fish-out-of-water story is about to unfold.
