Cheryl wants to give up her addiction to drugs (the monkey on her back) and prostitution. She agrees to dry out with the help of Samaritans ex-prostitute Rachel and her husband. Cheryl invites her boyfriend and pimp, Con, to visit. Con gives Cheryl drugs and takes her back to Kings Cross. Rachel recalls how difficult it was for her to quit drugs.
