Clip description

In 1941 the HMAS Sydney was sunk by a German ship off the coast of Western Australia. There were no Australian survivors. There are conflicting opinions about whether the HMAS Sydney sent a distress signal and why there was a delay of some days before a search vessel was sent to look for survivors.
