Synopsis
Academy Award winning costume designer, Lizzy Gardiner, interviews television stars about their time in the spotlight and what follows. Gardiner interviews stars like Bruce Samazan, Ashley Paske and Isla Fisher about how it feels to be a star and life after the limelight. Segments from soap operas are also shown.

The documentary looks at the brief moments of fame that most actors experience when performing in regular TV serials. It is industry wisdom that most soap opera actors don’t go on to have acting careers after their short-lived reign on the small screen. Some notable exceptions are Guy Pearce, Melissa George, Peter Phelps, Isla Fisher and Kylie Minogue. Director and interviewer Lizzy Gardiner had her own taste of momentary fame when she won the Best Costume Oscar for The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
