Clip description
A group of children sit around a campfire listening to two Anmatjere elders (Patsy and Jane Briscoe) telling a ghost story called Bungalung. Young men act out the scenes described by the women in the story.
Curator’s notes
This clip introduces the storyteller and the story. The two Anmatjere elders take turns to tell different parts of the story, sometimes times talking in unison. Their voices create a beautiful rhythmic pattern.
