FW Thring Introduces the Stars (1931)

  1. I got sent here when I did a search on google after listening to an interview on 3LO that mentioned the work of Frank Thring Senior. At the start of the 20th Century, Australia had the second biggest film industry on the planet. Since then we have undergone a number of renaissance. The seventies were particularly exciting for me as I was growing up and it was wonderful to hear Australian voices on the screen in a way which I had never seen before. Since then we have gone on to make some of the most imaginative and thoughtful stories. Frank Thring Senior was a genuine pioneer and Australia owes to him a huge debt.
