David Caesar smiles for the camera

In the second of our filmmaker interviews, Ray Argall interviewed David Caesar whose fifth feature film, Prime Mover is currently in release. David told Ray: 'Everything about the process of film making I actually like. I understand what you’re supposed to do when you’re on a recce or when you’re making a film. It’s very clear what everyone’s role is, and I find it really enjoyable in a way, that I find real life a little bit confusing’.

When he’s not making films, David says, 'I watch films. And I live on a farm. A huge amount of my time is spent fixing up the bloody road’.

The interview includes a stills gallery and a screenography.
