Nerida Anderson (Justine Saunders), along with her brother (Paul Pryor) and cousin (Lorraine Mafi Williams), hold a meeting to discuss the poor living conditions on the Koomalah Aboriginal Reserve. Nerida talks about a petition sent to the Aboriginal Protection Board, the lack of maintenance and the state of the houses on the reserve, the removal of children from their parents, and the need for vocational training for her people.
