Spoke to my father (Ron Haddrick) this weekend 19/2/17 about how this was filmed. For those who are interested his memory - over fifty years later - was each 1hr episode took three days to shoot. Monday and Tuesday they would shoot on location - and then on Sunday they would shoot all the studio scenes. Each scene would be blocked with multi-cam and then shot in one take with the director calling the vision splits in studio as it was recorded. As long as the actors remembered their lines - that was the take. Location and studio record were then edited together, some sound cues added, and it went to air the following Sunday. He actually thought series one might have even gone to air in the evening of the same Sunday they recorded.
How times have changed!
