Clip description
This clip from the series theme song, shown in the opening sequence of each episode, tells how Flipper saves a young Polynesian boy, Lopaka, from drowning in a terrible storm. It also introduces Dexter, the power-hungry octopus as the resident villain.
Curator’s notes
This theme song captures the feel of the series and has all the Yoram Gross series features, providing the backstory and a brief overview of the main characters, the setting and a glimpse of some of the adventures that befall Flipper and Lopaka. This song is not as catchy as other Gross productions but it serves its purpose well.
