Clip description
The Board of Works digs up ground in Melbourne’s northern suburbs to lay sewerage pipes. A large section of pipe is lowered into a trench beside railway tracks. Men above ground watch the pipe lowered by crane as workers in the trenches continue to dig. Two men work on a platform with a section of pipe visible behind them.
