Curator’s notes
The animator has created a nightmarish scene through the combination of back-lit, greenish-black silhouetted shapes emulating a jungle and grasslands; a human form and a monstrous insect in what seems to be a primordial landscape. The effective use of violin music contributes to the dark mood and represents the terrifying screech of the murderous insect as it closes in on its victim.
