Like all good film noir femmes fatales, Gina knows more than she’s telling Sam and questions remain deep into proceedings as to whether or not she can be trusted. Gina’s revelation that Hagan once lived in Saigon adds another layer of intrigue, as Sam is a Vietnam veteran. Perhaps this accounts for Sam stopping momentarily in his tracks as the helicopter approaches. This exciting chase sequence shows off the rugged beauty of the hinterland on Queensland’s mid-north coast.
