  2. I believe I can shed some light on where the St Kilda section of the 'The story of the Kelly gang' was filmed. My father told me many times that it was filmed in front of his grandfather's (Thomas Conroy) blacksmiths forge in St Kilda. My father was of the opinion that the forge was where St Kilda junction is now however some family research by my sister indicates that it was at 10 James Street Windsor. Dad was adamant about the St Kilda location however memories can be eroded by time.
