A scene that confirms what the viewer may already have suspected about Alex. In clip one Alex cited his son’s behavioural problems as his reason for attending the group. It’s clear that Alex is the one with anger management issues – his threatening behaviour towards the window washer clearly disturbs his son. The significance, for the broader narrative, is that Alex needs to recognise and acknowledge his own bad behaviour to the other group members.
