Clip description

After only three issues of Bolo, Kevin Agar (John Duigan) is struggling to pay even the printer. Back in the office, his friend (Alan Finney) says he is willing to write on any topic. Another (John Romeril) has composed a jingle for the magazine. Kevin sings it as they crack open some ‘brown bombers’ (beer) in the office.

Curator’s notes

The film’s comedy is gently satirical, verging on recessive, but there are moments of more overt mirth – like the office singalong – which look as if they may have been spontaneous.
