During a palaeontological excavation volunteer Nicola Barton found a remarkable fossil. The tooth contained two roots indicating a mammal. Dr Thomas Rich from Museum Victoria and the School of Geosciences, Monash University declared that it belonged to a mammal, not a dinosaur.
