Curator’s notes

The documentary is structured around an interview and scenes of Rodney Brien riding. A rodeo is held in his honour. In spite of the known dangers of the sport young men continue to participate. The filmmaker exposes the gladiatorial machismo of the laconic roughriders as they face almost certain injury.
