Synopsis
Twenty-four-year old Rodney Brien is killed bull riding. The documentary pays tribute to his life and examines the sport of bull riding. Brien is seen in an interview and his family and friends talk about him. Colleagues comment on the sport.

The documentary is structured around an interview and scenes of Rodney Brien riding. A rodeo is held in his honour. In spite of the known dangers of the sport young men continue to participate. The filmmaker exposes the gladiatorial machismo of the laconic roughriders as they face almost certain injury.
