The music changes tempo with drumbeats and flute in this clip. There are images of people dancing, a couple kissing, women and men on the streets. In interview, several people speak about night being the time to celebrate, get drunk or high, dress up, go to parties, have sex and generally give yourself over.
Curator’s notes
The music and the images segue into each other beautifully, giving this segment a lot of energy. This is the first time you see some of the interviewees in the film and it’s a relief at this point to actually see the faces of people you have been listening to.
