Lobster Tales (1998)

Synopsis

A whimsical look at the life of a crayfish, also known as a rock lobster, from egg to table. The film also interviews the fishers about growing wealthy from the lobster industry and how that wealth has changed their lifestyle.

Curator’s notes

This is a well-made documentary, informative and entertaining. Sequences shot from the lobsters’ point-of-view give an engaging and unusual perspective. Good underwater photography by Leighton De Barros.
