Life on a Sheep Farm (1965)

The documentary explores life on a sheep farm over one year in 1965. The property is in Ruffy, Victoria. The documentary explains sheep shearing, sheep drenching, hay bailing, feeding and caring for farm animals and the role of the sheep dog. Modern methods and machinery have taken over in the new century but some tasks remain the same.

Curator’s notes

The film is a didactic, straightforward record of farm life.
