Clip description

Malcolm Fraser and his wife, Tammy, enter their living room. Two of their children are home from boarding school. The narrator states that Fraser returns home 14 hours after he left it and has more to do later. The family chats. Fraser speaks in voice-over about wanting to spend more time with his family.

Curator’s notes

The scene of the family interacting is somewhat awkward, most likely because of the film crew’s presence. Fraser talks personally about his family, the regrets he has about not having enough time for them, then tells an endearing story about a family holiday.
