Synopsis
The documentary is a complete life biography of Australian Sidney Cotton (1894-1969). Cotton was an aviator who spied for the British prior to the Second World War. During the war, he ran a photographic unit spying on the Germans. The film features archival footage, interviews with colleagues and friends, and dramatic recreations of scenes from Cotton’s life.

Journalist Jeff Watson wrote and directed the story. The elements of archival footage, interviews and dramatic recreations meld well to tell the story of Sidney Cotton. Jeff Watson’s credits include: Beyond 2000 (1985-99), Getaway (1992-current), Classic Aeroplanes in Australia (1996), Curtiss Kittyhawk (1991) and Ghost Squadron: Confederate Air Force (1989).
