Australian Dr Helen Caldicott has been campaigning for the abolition of the nuclear program for thirty years. In the 1980s she convinced 23,000 doctors to join the Physicians for Social Responsibility. Senator Edward Kennedy acknowledges Dr Caldicott for her commitment.
