Curator’s notes
Most of those interviewed exhibit passion for the subject matter. But documentaries that are chiefly made up of talking heads can become quite tedious, especially if the subject matter is as serious and dense as this material. The mix of animation, historical footage and new material lightens the overall film and makes it very digestible.
